Saturday, February 28, 5:30–7:30 PM at Fuller Park
All are invited to join us for Tangletown Winter Fest on Saturday, February 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Fuller Park (4802 Grand Ave. S.).
Enjoy sledding, a community sing-along, food trucks, hot chocolate, and s’mores—plus an exciting fire spinning performance at 6:30 PM. We’ll light up the park with luminaries and bonfires, creating a cozy winter night for all ages. Dress warm and gather with neighbors.
Food and Activities:
- Fundraiser for 2026 programs*:
- S’mores – $5/kit, includes ingredients for two s’mores (GF option available)
- Glow Sticks – $1
- Free hot chocolate provided by Fuller Park (we encourage you to BYO insulated mug!)
- Food Trucks: Cafe Ena and Finer Meats & Eats
- Community Sing-Along at 6:00 PM: Come sing familiar favorites around the fire with your neighbors (Song list: tangletown.org/songs)
- Sledding (BYO or Fuller Park will have a few available to share)
- Fire performance at 6:30 PM by Funtime Funktions!
- Meet Tangletown Neighborhood Association board members and learn what volunteers in Tangletown are working on!
* All money raised, including a % of food truck sales, supports TNA’s 2026 programming, including Welcome Bags for new residents, education events, and more
Just announced! Volunteers from the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council’s Monarch Butterfly Project will join us at Winter Fest. Look for their “We protect our neighbors” monarch yard signs and posters—now popping up around Minneapolis—created to show solidarity with immigrant and refugee neighbors. Signs will be available for $15 and poster for $5, with proceeds benefiting UNIDOS MN.
Please note: To ensure safety around fire pits and when handling marshmallow roasting skewers, children under age 12 must be be supervised by an adult.
