Tangletown Community Safety Conversation
A Q&A with MPD Crime Prevention Specialist Jennifer Waisanen. Inspector Christine Nelson was unable to join due to a training.
The Tangletown Neighborhood Association hosted a Zoom conversation on March 20, 2024 with the Minneapolis Police Department’s 5th Precinct Crime Prevention Specialist, Jennifer Waisanen. Moderated by Tangletown’s Building, Land Use, and Housing Committee, the discussion centered on crime trends and statistics around the 5th Precinct and more locally in Tangletown, as well as safety and prevention tips for Tangletown residents. Attendees were asked to submit questions when they registered, and these pre-submitted questions were used to inquire about topics of interest to the neighborhood.
