On April 9, the Tangletown, Kingfield, and Lyndale neighborhood organizations held their first workshop as part of a grant project focused on reducing wasted food. Attendees learned smart shopping strategies, simple kitchen habits, and storage tips to help groceries last longer — all from Hennepin County Food Waste Prevention Specialist Jenny Kedward.
