Tangletown Neighborhood Day is a day to spruce up our neighborhood, nourish our gardens, and connect with neighbors!

Plate-to-Garden Compost Pick Up Fundraiser
On May 18, Tangletown volunteers and our partners from Mayflower UCC will be distributing compost from 10 AM–Noon in the Mayflower Church parking lot. Here’s your chance to have food scraps that have been turned into compost nourish your yard. We suggest a donation of $2 per 20 pounds of compost, to help cover the cost of the compost and delivery. Bring your own fillable containers, or purchase compostable sacks that will be available for $1 each. First come, first served.

Spring Spruce Up
Don’t need compost? There are plenty of other reasons to stop by. Pick up free Spring Spruce Up supplies, including yard waste bags, while supplies last. Or, bring your yard and garden questions to a Master Gardener, or register to vote with the League of Women Voters Minneapolis.

Meet your Tangletown Neighborhood Association
Tangletown Neighborhood Association board members and committee volunteers will be there, sharing what they are working on, and serving free treats from local businesses. Learn about upcoming board elections and about serving on your neighborhood board.

Bring your neighbors and help us build community through caring for our neighborhood.
