  2. Remote vote to combine Summer Party with Lynnhurst

    2. No votes in opposition 
    3. Motion passes
  3. Nicollet Avenue Bridge update
    1. Arches 4 to 9 have been removed
    2. Concrete rubble removal ongoing 
    3. Final bridge will encompass all design elements
  4. Fuller Park update
    1. Demolition is just finishing
    2. Goal to repair the building before schools return
    3. Pool and bathrooms will be closed all summer
    4. Exterior improvements now planned for 2027

    3. Heather Grovum moved to a elect those 9 candidates as a slate; Jordan Frederickson seconded; motion passed unanimously
  6. Councilmember Whiting update
    1. 6 students from Washburn HS will be shadowing him on May 19 for Life as a Councilmember Day
    2. Council recently strengthened some rental protections regarding immigration status
    3. Small business grants have been passed to start responding to Operation Metro Surge
    4. Recent string of smash-and-grabs north of Tangletown, and MPD will be working on Operation Safe Summer
    5. His weekly newsletter includes voting scoreboard for all votes and the total outcomes
    6. Nicollet Avenue Bridge currently ahead of schedule, and he’s working with contractors about where equipment parking should occur
    7. Moved to delay the vote for Community Wellness Center with assumption it would return at the end of the year
      1. Issue has returned and needs 9 votes in favor because of the state bonding dollars just passed
      2. Letter of intent to purchase also expires
      3. May 19 meeting to create a working group of 3 to 5 councilmembers, community interns, and city staff to get recommendation about what final process should look like
