Called to order at 7:05
- Councilmember Koski:
- She is the new representative from the city council to the MN League of Cities
- Working for state and federal funding for the Nicollet Avenue Bridge
- State is now balking at cost, but it rises $500,000/annually
- Requested $33million federal grant
- Encourage neighbors to contain Minnesota senators and Representative Omar
- Memo of Understanding with the Park Board and the Minnehaha Creek Watershed Deistrict expired
- New steering committee was created to update the agreement
- 3 projects identified along the creek to support water quality, flood mitigation, and Lake Hiawatha
- Work plan with metrics used by Budget Committee of the council last year will now be adopted for all committees
- Ride share ordinance passed mayor’s veto
- Governor’s study group issued a report, and her vote followed the governor’s report that drivers are not earning a living wage
- Vote switched based upon governor’s report
- Exceptions shouldn’t be made from basic worker rights
- Draft senate bill almost would result in nearly identical wage as city ordinance
- She added outside evaluation at 6 month implementation and annually of the rates passed in the ordinance
- 2030 Plan still governs unless legislature passes a law to allow the 2040 Plan without an Environmental Impact Study
- Still pushing for red light cameras
- Fuller Park update:
- There will be an Easter egg hunt on March 30 between 9-1130am with craft projects and breakfast snacks
- Secretary update:
- Heather moved to pass February minutes, Claire seconded. Passed unanimously.
- Treasurer update:
- $873 received between WinterFest, donations, and garage sale fees
- Equity Committee Funding
- Committee started as a task force without dedicated funding during last strategic planning, but would be easier with dedicated funding going forward
- $6,401 in “define Tangletown” from 2020 assigned to BLUH budget has never been spent
- Equitable Engagement Fund worked to bring in some money to TNA budget as well
- Heather moved to reallocate the $6,401 from “define Tangletown” to the Equity Committee’s engagement funding. Mark seconded. Passed unanimously.

- Ellen is available for IDI at the June board meeting
- Link will be sent for a 20-minute assessment between June and August to then be shared in August
- Collaborating with Joyce Uptown for food donation
- Multi-neighborhood coalition is hosting an environmental justice bus tour
- Ask was $750, and it is a donation to CME Justice organization
- Mark moved to allow up to $750 for funding; Steph seconded. Passed unanimously.
- Ellen is available for IDI at the June board meeting

- Planning a Lunch and Learn event about Longevity for Tech for March 23 at Fuller Park
- Will be catered by Curry in a Hurry
- RePower facility tour will be April 20 with room for up to 20 people
- Compost event at Mayflower on May 18 from 9-noon
- Seeking more commitment cards to reduce e-waste
- Planning a Lunch and Learn event about Longevity for Tech for March 23 at Fuller Park
- Building, Land Use, and Housing
- Safety and Security Discussion with MPD will be March 20
- Neighborhood Garage sale scheduled for May 3-4
- Will join the Neighborhood Day event on May 18 with more yard bags, master gardener(s), perhaps another raffle
- Are discussing renaming the committee
- SW Neighborhood Collaborative
- City wanted resident feedback on what the collaborative should look like and it got stuck on engagement difficulties
- TNA said would be inauthentic to try engagement again
- Consultant wants focus group that will be very intentional with consultant leading the dialogue
- Seeking 10 people per neighborhood, but no incentive provided to those participating
- Looking for underrepresented neighbors
