“I listened to this episode of Ezra Klein’s show a month ago, and it has come to mind several times since. Scott Weiner, currently a state senator from San Francisco, has focused on housing for many years serving both city and state government. Once more of a lone voice, his policies and positions have garnered more support of late. On its face, the discussion is rather specifically about the particulars of California and San Francisco politics and issues including, but not limited to, housing; however, it seems to me that there are quite a few corollaries as we consider the intersection of politics with issues like housing, income inequality, and transportation in our own community. In all, an interesting listen if you have a spare hour and twenty.”
