Fourth of July

Fourth of July in Tangletown

Scroll down for decoration locations/map and scavenger hunt clues.

For years, Tangletown has celebrated the Fourth of July in community at Fuller Park. And while we can’t do that this year, we do want to offer an opportunity for our neighborhood to honor this annual tradition in a new way this year.

Last year was one of our largest Fourth of July celebrations yet, so we’re proud to dedicate revenue from last year’s event towards supporting our local businesses this year. By participating in this year’s events, the first 50 entries will receive a voucher for churro donuts at El Jefe and all entires will be entered to win $400 worth of gift cards to local business favorites like Sun Street Breads, Patisserie 46, Tangletown Bike Shop, The Foundry Home Goods, Órale, Cafe Ena, and more.

There are multiple ways for all ages and abilities to participate:

  • Decorate your sidewalk/window/yard/home (decorating supplies generously donated by Oriental Trading Company!)
  • Complete our neighborhood scavenger hunt (we’ll provide both easier clues for our young friends and more challenging ones for adults)
  • Walk the neighborhood to enjoy the decorations (a map of registered locations will be provided)

Where to find the decoration locations:

Scavenger Hunt Clues:

You can always use the easier clues as a hint if you’re using the harder set of clues. To enter to win, please take selfies of yourself/your group at a minimum of 5 clue destinations and email them to by July 7 for your chance to win!

You do not need to live in Tangletown to participate.
