2025-2027 TNA Board Candidates

Below are candidates who have been nominated to run for one of eight open board seats for the 2025-2027 term. Additional candidates may come forward at the Annual Meeting on May 19. Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting or by electronic vote after the meeting if the elections are contested. If you are interested in running for an open seat, fill out a candidate form or simply raise your hand at the annual meeting! Heidi Stennes

  • Please tell us a little bit about yourself in 2-3 sentences: “Own and live in a Tangletown duplex for 31 years. Former member of the Kingfield neighborhood association.”
  • In a few sentences, tell us why you want to serve on the Tangletown Neighborhood Association Board: “I care passionately about our neighborhood and want to keep it the desirable neighborhood that it is.. I am retired and can give more of my time.”

Will Young

  • Please tell us a little bit about yourself in 2-3 sentences: I’ve been a Tangletown resident since 2008. My partner and I have two kids at Burroughs, and you’ll often find me biking along the creek or grabbing something from the library.
  • In a few sentences, tell us why you want to serve on the Tangletown Neighborhood Association Board: I have enjoyed my time serving on the board the past few years and getting involved with events that bring us together.

Patrick Prochaska

  • Please tell us a little bit about yourself in 2-3 sentences: Lived in Tangletown 37 years. I believe neighborhoods are important part of good community.
  • In a few sentences, tell us why you want to serve on the Tangletown Neighborhood Association Board: The neighborhood has done so much for me. I want to give back!

Hannah Torry

  • Please tell us a little bit about yourself in 2-3 sentences: I am an enthusiastic, active, first-time homeowner in Tangletown. After traveling & working remotely for a few years, my partner, our pup and I are so happy to be back in MPLS and we could not be more thrilled to call this neighborhood home. I am an avid runner, crafter, reader and a first-time gardener (wish me luck!!). I feel so lucky to be here.
  • In a few sentences, tell us why you want to serve on the Tangletown Neighborhood Association Board: After many years in downtown apartments and living a nomadic lifestyle, I am eager to establish a community I love. I am passionate about helping people and the environment and I pride myself in being a voice for those who may not have one. As a natural leader with strong communication and organization skills, I know I can make a difference in our neighborhood as a member of the Tangletown Neighborhood Association Board.
