Join us on November 26th from 11 AM to 4 PM as we double our giving at our Blood Drive by adding a food and supply drive for Joyce Uptown Foodshelf.

The Tangletown, Fulton, Kenny, and Lynnhurst neighborhood organizations, along with the Burrough’s PTA and Memorial Blood Centers, have partnered to bring the mobile blood bank to southwest Minneapolis (Burrough’s parking lot) on November 26 as a way to show support for the victims of the shooting at Annunciation and provide a vital resource to victims of gun violence and other traumas, people undergoing surgery, and community members being treated for chronic illnesses such as cancer.
We will also be collecting food shelf items at this event to support Joyce Uptown Foodshelf. Items most needed include: spaghetti, ramen, canned proteins (tofu, spam, chicken, tuna), instant oatmeal packets, pads & tampons, toothbrushes & toothpaste, paper grocery bags with handles, and empty egg cartons (clean, dozen or half-dozen size). Volunteers will be set up near the blood mobile to collect donations anytime between 11 AM and 4 PM.
